Dear George, Karen, Tracey , Jenn, Faye, Florine, Cliff and Families:
Literally a lifetime of memories were shared between our families from as early as I can remember. I am truly sorry for your loss, but what a long and full life your Mom and Grandmother had, that will live forever in all of your memories. Chaunce -, your Dad George and my Dad Jack were childhood buddies - the 'Boys from Swamp Ward', and we spent so much fun time together in Kingston and on Loughborough Lake. Water skiing in the summer, skating on the ice in the winter, gathering for family BBQs, cheering us on at the Wally Elmer, collecting pop bottles to spend at Skegg's Store or watching our collective parents enjoy a few smart cocktails, are all part of my comforting memories. Your Mom was such a gentle soul and always made me feel welcomed in your home. I remember seeing your Mom a summer or two ago at Jenn's, and while she didn't remember me at first, her eyes lit up when she connected with me. It was great to see her then. She was the last woman standing in the legacy of our family friendship. I know she will be missed greatly but I'm sure you will smile often as you recall some of those early days as I have. My sincere thoughts are with you all through this very difficult time.
