Obituary of Kendall John McCullough

Kendall John McCullough

March 19, 1956 - April 20, 2023

It is with great sadness we announce Kendall's passing. With his loving family by his side, he passed April 20, 2023 after a brief battle. Beloved son of Donald David and the late Mary Jane McCullough (nee Haskett).

Kendall is survived by his loving wife of 20 years Debbie, (nee Crockett).

Loving father to his children Michelle (Keir) and Michael (Lauren); and step-father to Candice and Cassie.

Proud Gonkie to Chloe, Callum, Colton, Teigan, Phyona and Archer. He will be sorrowfully missed by his sister, Constance Jane (John). Step-Brother to Malcolm. Predeceased by his first wife Maria McCullough (nee Braga).

Kendall will be fondly remembered by his extended family, friends and the family dog Bane.

Kendall worked in the x-ray department at KGH for 38 years making special friends with colleagues. Kendall was a husband, father, son, grandfather, brother, cousin, hockey coach, teacher and best friend. He weathered many storms and became a man far too early for his short life.

Passionate about music, he often corrected Queen's Radio DJ many a Friday night. Kendall won so many prizes from various radio stations he could only call in once a month. An avid Toronto Maple Leaf fan, you could periodically see the team flag upside down at the end of his driveway after the season.

Movie maker, orator, sportsman, music curator and stout friend. His easy smile made him a King among men.

As in life, dying was endured with courage, grace and dignity.

Family and friends will be received at James Reid Funeral Home (1900 John Counter Boulevard) on Monday, April 24th from 11:00a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. In accordance with Kendall's wishes, in lieu of flowers his only desire is for the Toronto Maple Leafs to march down Yonge Street with the cup held high!
