Condolences from our family to Ken's and to his other loved ones. I've known Ken as "rockett88" for quite a long time from the ps island of misfits a bunch of us have occupied online, sharing our joys of hockey and any other topic that comes to mind. As well Bob and I met him and Debbie at the ps shindigs. Those fun times will never be forgotten. Neither forgotten will be his never-give-up-on love and support of the Toronto Maple Leafs as everyone knows. He easily epitomized what a diehard Leafs fan is all about. Always positive and hopeful, this is the year he would insist. On the day he passed, Ken's beloved team that night crushed (7-2) their playoff opponent as if the Toronto team was saying, "this one's for you, rockett!". We knew how much Ken was into music, and especially supportive of Canadian musicians and bands. Ken was a great storyteller and we knew he was exceptionally proud, albeit humble, of helping to bring to fruition the story of George Patterson (which I watched on dvd after he kindly mailed me a copy). On a silly note, Ken knew how much the colour pink figures in my life and he played along with it in his own special way. (This brings a big smile to my face just remembering.) When I think of the golden rule, I think of Ken personifying it. He was a good listener and giving: reasonable and fair; kind and thoughtful; understanding and caring; funny and cool. He was a softie, a gem and everyone's rock all rolled into one. I will always cherish the many happy memories of my friendship with Ken. Rest peacefully rockett88.
