At rest, after a long and happy life, George Hogeboom passed away December 20, 2022, aged 99. Pre-deceased by his wife, May, he will be greatly missed by his children Doug (Penny), Bob (Emma), Sheri and Julie (the late Peter), grandchildren Sarah (Cory), Emily (deceased), Lauren, Patti (Scott), Tracy and Ian (Mikaela), great grandchildren George and June, sisters Alice and Leona and many nieces and nephews. George was pre-deceased by 9 siblings. George was happiest spending time with his family and at his cottage. A jack-of-all trades, he will be remembered for being able to build and fix anything, and was always there for whoever needed him. George’s family will receive friends at James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd., Kingston, on Tuesday December 27, 2022 from 1:00 until 1:50, followed by the funeral service at 2:00 pm. Interment Glenhaven Memorial Gardens. For those who wish, donations in George’s memory may be made to the Kingston Humane Society or a charity of their choice.
