Dear Ginny and Aunt Sheila and family, I am so very sorry for your loss. To my dear wife, Julia and daughter Teresa, I am so sorry for the loss of your grandma (our Grandma and Nana). I am so fortunate to have known such a wonderful and caring person. She welcomed me into the family since the first time I met her and has always cared and prayed for me and our family. Grandma, I will remember the funny conversations we had and the jokes you would tell Julia, Teresa and I. To this very day I still tell my friends and family about the VIA train stories when someone was sitting in your seat, the extra chocolates or that person behind you who was coughing away and of course the story at the Cookstown mall LOL!!! I am laughing now as I think about it again. I love how you would also call me Fred and we would have a big laugh about changing my name. You were a card shark for sure, the crazy eights queen. Grandma you always made me feel so loved, you always said you can feel our love but it’s your love that I will never forget and will cherish forever. The bond you share with Julia is something absolutely amazing, which she will cherish and it will help her through this difficult time without you. Your tradition of making beets and icicle pickles and dates squares and hello dollies will be carried on by Julia and we will remember you every time we eat them and share them with our friends and family. You never missed an opportunity ask me about how my parents were doing and cared so much about them as they did you. They will miss you. May you rest in peace until we meet again! I love you grandma.
