I was so saddened to find out just today that our dear colleague and sister phys ed enthusiast passed away in September. I loved going to conferences and Professional Development activities with this vivacious, ever smiling lovely woman. I remember golfing 9 holes once on our way to the huge OPHEA Conference at Lake Couchiching with Linda, and 'the other' Linda, and Tony R. I think? Those kinds of crucial, collegial, team building events don't happen much in education any more, and I'm sure that disappointed Linda tremendously. When the AIDS epidemic was upon us, we were part of the local team that adapted the health curriculum with the goal of keeping our students safe. These are just a few memories of Linda that I will hold dear. She was a sweet soul, and will be missed.

Although I did not see Linda often for many years, when I did encounter her she was that same beautiful woman with a million dollar smile and warm greeting. Beautiful inside and out. My condolences to her much cherished family. Sincerely Connie Johnson

I first met Linda when I got a job teaching at Holsgrove school with Linda as my principal. She was a pleasure to work with and always offered support. For the past few years I have enjoyed her friendship in our weekly card group. I will miss her smile, laugh and sense of humour. She was a good friend.
