Carol was so talented! I met her at Olan Mills Photography plant when we were in our early 20’s. Carol was soft spoken and quick to smile when approached for her assistance with a photo touch up. Carol was a lead touch up artist and this came to her easily as she had the coulour schemes down pat. Carol could remove an ex partner or a mothers loving hand from the backdrop of the perfect photograph with much skill. Carol was chosen To train in Chattanooga Tennessee at the head location for Olan Mills. Carol would be approached to assist her co-workers with what colours to mix to get that perfect match to remove flaws in the back drops. Carol could touch up your natural flaws in a photograph and make you look like a beauty Queen with ease! Carol had a great sense of humour, I suspect because she was an April 1st baby! Carol loved to laugh and would listen to my life’s escapades with out judgement. Carol was a loyal, loving friend, and had so much to share with those she loved. Carol was a loving mother, grandmother, mother in law, daughter, partner, and friend. I am fortunate and a better person for meeting Carol and so very grateful to have had time with her before she passed on. Thank you Amanda and Rebecca for sharing your mothers final days with me. I was so honoured to have this time with her and Know she is at peace to have had you both by her side❤️
