Obituary of Jim Tennant

TENNANT, James Frederick “Jim”

Much loved and respected retired school teacher and principal - peacefully passed away on November 29, 2019 at Providence Care Hospital, Kingston Ontario, in his 91^st year. Jim was the beloved husband of Elizabeth “Liz” Tennant (nee Purvis) for 67 years. Loving father of Susan (the late James Owen), Edward (Carol), Becky (Dave), and Tony (Lil). Proud grandfather of Ben (Daniela), James, Jordan, and Brad. Brother of the late Earl (Faye), the late Jack (Irene), and the late Elaine. There will be a private family graveside ceremony in the spring.  Jim’s family wishes to express their gratitude to the medical staff at the Kingston General Hospital, Dialysis Unit, and the Providence Care Hospital Palliative Care Unit. Special thanks to the nurses of Saint Elizabeth, for their care and compassion.  For those who wish donations may be made to the UHKF (KGH Dialysis Unit) in Jim’s memory.
