My most sincere heartfelt condolences to you Paula, your sons, their families, and Marylou, his only sibling. Bill was such a huge presence in our small world. He did everything with gusto, humour, and faith. He was my cousin - as his Mom (my Aunty Peggy - Gladys O’Neill) and my Mom (Grace (Dimples) O’Neill) were brought up like sisters. They lived together and shared such a special bond. Bill (or Billy, as I always thought of him) had the best smile in the Universe, so like Uncle Kemmy’s (his Dad). He was a true Boy Scout - (in every sense of the word) winning the highest award - for the entire country one year. His students must have loved his infectious smile, laugh, and sense of humour. He did nothing half way. Heaven has gained a beautiful soul. We have lost a wonderful man - always truly full of wonder. His spirit and name will live on. And he will live inside each of us he graced with his presence. Rest In Peace beautiful cousin. You have left us way to soon. I guess God had a special garden he needed tending. You will be so greatly missed. Be at peace, and know how very loved you were here on earth.
Love, Wendy & Hal Haycock
