Passed away peacefully at home. She leaves her loving husband of 61 years Albert Tierney. Dear mother of David Tierney (Patti) of Cornwall, Mary Anne Tierney of Brockville, Karen Thompson (Robert) of Napanee, Kathy Jordison (John) of Amherstview. Devoted grandmother of Sean (Meghan), Colin (Jessica), Erin (Eric), Caitlin, Shannon (Daniel), Matthew (Ellen), Justin (Michelle), Adam (Sarah), Emma Jean (dec. July 2, 1998), Tara (Christopher) and Amy; greatgrandchildren Duncan, Jack, Kaius, Alea and Aiden. Sister of Richard Hussey (Kolleen). Predeceased by her sister Carol Hunt (Rod) and parents Beatrice and Foster Hussey. Yvonne worked several years for Ongwanada Hospital. Friends will be received at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Blvd. on Sunday, October 6 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 7 at 1:00 pm in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (3 Briscoe St., Amherstview). As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to University Hospitals Kingston Foundation or CNIB (Kingston) would be appreciated by the family.
