It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our strong and courageous Mary on Tuesday, December 4, 2018. Her fighting spirit truly was an inspiration. Beloved wife of 14 yrs to Larry McGuire. Amazing Mama to her daughters Samantha and Amanda. Proud Nana to her grandsons Caleb, Auston and Hunter. Loving daughter of Irene Hubbard. Older sister to brothers Eric (Pamela) and Guy (Joanne) and sister Katrina (Barry). Predeceased by her father Harry Hubbard, brother Michael and sister April. Deeply loved and missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
An extra special thanks to Dr. Paul Gallupe, the Palliative care team at KGH, all the staff and nurses at the Southeast LHIN, CBI Home Health and Kaymar Rehabilitation for all your compassion, guidance and support during such a difficult time. Respecting Mary's wishes, cremation has taken place at James Reid Crematorium.
A celebration of Mary's adventurous life will be held on Friday, December 14, 2018 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at LEGION BRANCH 631 in Collins Bay. For those who wish, donations may be made to U.H.K.F. (Cancer Centre of Southeastern Ontario) or Epilepsy Southeastern Ontario.
