Obituary of Armando Evangelista

EVANGELISTA, Armando-  
Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, November 20, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Annunziata. He will be dearly missed by his daughters Claudia (Angelo),  Anna (Giovanni), and Joanne (Jason), as well as his grandchildren Angela, Elisa (Jordan), Lora (Scott), Anacleto (Rachel), Armando (Lisa), and Evan, two great-grandchildren Maxx and Olive.  Survived by his brothers Angelo (Francesca) and Elio (Maria).  Predeceased by siblings Giuseppe (Maria), Pietro (Francesca), Francesco, Maria (Emilio) and Italino.  Also missed by all of his nieces and nephews.  Thank you to all the doctors and nursing staff, especially Jodie at KGH.  A special thank you to Lilia and Gloria for all of your dedicated care.  Family and friends will be received at JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Boulevard, on Friday, November 23 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.  Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at ST. MARY'S CATHEDRAL (corner of Johnson and Clergy Streets), on Saturday, November 24 at 10:00 am.  Entombment will take place in Italy at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to The Heart & Stroke Foundation in Mr. Evangelista's memory.
