Obituary of David Lindsey Morgan

Morgan, David Lindsey
May 10, 1951 - November 3, 2018

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the death of David Lindsey Morgan at Kingston General Hospital. He passed quietly, though far too soon, encompassed in the love of his family and friends. At long last, his pain is over. He is survived by "his Linda" - his strength, his rock, his love - his wife of 43 years R. Linda Morgan (née Birkin). He was a proud father of his boys William Douglas, Robert James, and Grant Lindsay. He will be lovingly missed as the big brother of Allison, Philip, Elspeth, and Andrew. Nephew of Jim Angus and Jean Burns. His other boys, Sionn and Egan, will miss the treats, ear rubs, and playing fetch, but he is reunited with his girl Cassandra.

We wish to express our deepest thanks to the team at KGH. Specifically, we thank the palliative care team and the nursing staff on Kidd 4 who ensured he was comfortable and calm in his final days.

Against his stubborn and frugal wishes, and because he can no longer argue with us, the family will receive those wishing to pay their respects on November 17th at St George's Cathedral, 270 King Street East, Kingston, from 10:15 am, until time of service at 11:00 am.  A reception will follow. He will be interred at Cataraqui Cemetery in a private service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make donations in David's name to Lunch By George and Hope For Wildlife.
