LAVERTU, Huguette Denise

1940 – 2018

Huguette Denise Lavertu passed away peacefully at the Providence Care Hospital on Saturday, October 6, 2018. Huguette, beloved wife of John Tetlow for 28 years will be sadly missed by John and his family - Judy Tetlow (Dale Midwood), Fiona Tetlow (Dale Roe) and Cathy Johns (Gary) as well as grandchildren Sydney Midwood, Jill and Matt Schouppe and Jake and Danni Johns. Huguette will also be lovingly remembered by her brother Raymond Lavertu, sister-in laws Francoise and Pauline as well as her nephews and nieces, especially Josee, and their families. A special thank you is extended to the staff at the Providence Care Hospital, Palliative Care Unit in the Heritage Wing for the caring and compassionate care that was given to Huguette and her family during their time of need. In accordance with Huguette’s wishes cremation has already taken place. A service and reception celebrating Huguette's life will be held at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME , Kingston on November 10 at 1:00pm. For those who wish, donations in Huguette’s memory may be made to the University Hospital Kingston Foundation to continue the good work that Huguette generously supported
