Obituary of Janice Van Der Klooster

VanDerKLOOSTER, Janice (Jan)

Peacefully with her family by her side at the Kingston General Hospital on Wednesday, October 31, 2018.  Jan, beloved mother to Todd and his partner Grace Pham, and cherished grandma of Brooklynn.  She is now reunited with her loving husband Joe.  Jan is predeceased by her parents Arthur and Margaret Gibbons as well as Joe’s parents Brumm and Henny VanDerKlooster and is survived by her dear brother Garry Gibbons and his wife Carolyn and their daughter Tammy.  She will be lovingly remembered by her brother-in-law Gerry Haaksman and sister-in-law Gesina Laird-Buchannan and their families.  Friends will be received on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at the James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd., Kingston from 1:00 – 2:00 pm, with a service of celebration at 2:00 pm.  A reception will follow the service in the James Reid Funeral Home, Celebration Centre.  For those who wish, donations in Jan’s memory may be made to the U.H.K.F. (Cancer Centre of SE ON at KGH).
