Obituary of A. Doreen Baker

BAKER, Anna Doreen (nee Potter)

1927 – 2018

Peacefully passed away at the Kingston General Hospital on Sunday, October 28, 2018.  Doreen, beloved wife of the late Leonard Baker and loving mom of the late Shirley Wallace.  She will be lovingly remembered by her son-in-law Grant Wallace, grandchildren Steven Wallace (Lia) and Terry Wallace (Meghan) and great grandchildren Piper, Macy, Mallory and Hazel. Doreen was predeceased by her parents Edward and Eva Potter as well as three brothers and one sister.  She will be sadly missed by sisters Thelma Shaw (Neil) and Elaine Webster (Ross), sisters-in-law Barb Potter and Mildred Potter and numerous nieces and nephews.  A special thank you is extended to all of those who helped Doreen over that last few weeks.  Friends will be received at the James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd., Kingston, on Friday, November 2, 2018 from 10:00 – 10:50 am, followed by a service in the Chapel at 11:00 am.  Interment at Cataraqui Cemetery.  For those who wish, donations in Doreen’s memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
