Passed away peacefully at Kingston General Hospital on Monday, October 8, 2018. Dear daughter of Rita and the late Robert Burns. Beloved wife of Dennis Stone and the late Gary Brown. Loving mother of Gregory Stone (Karen) and Daniel Stone (Kimberley) and proud “Nan” of Ryan (Alyssa), Kyle (Kristen) and Tyler (Tia), Shane and great grandmother of Riley, Hunter and Aubree. Survived by her siblings, Donna (Wayne), Shirley (David), Bobby, Arthur, Helen (Brian), Debbie, Billy (Sandra) and Kimmy. Special aunt to several nephews and nieces. A special thank you to the staff at K.G.H. Cardiac Care Unit. Cremation has taken place at the James Reid Crematorium. A celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 103 Worthington Way in the Clubhouse of Worthington Park (off of Weller Ave.) from 1-5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ongwanada Resource Centre would be appreciated by Linda’s family, as Linda was a homeshare provider for 31 years.
