GELDART, Juanita Mary
Peacefully at her home on Friday, October 12, 2018, in her 88th year. Juanita (nee LaPointe), beloved wife of Kirby Geldart who predeceased her in 1991.  Dearly loved mother of Stewart LaPointe, Betty Frayn (late Ian), Joyce Seymour (Terry) and Kevin Geldart (Kathy Anson).  Cherished by her 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.  Dear sister of Patricia MacPherson (Rod) and Arthur LaPointe (Barbara).  Predeceased by 6 sisters and 5 brothers.  Fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews.  The family extends sincere gratitude to Juanita's nurse Sherry, for her exemplary care and compassion provided to her.  Family and friends will be received at JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Boulevard on Monday, October 15 between the hours of 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm.  Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at HOLY FAMILY CATHOLIC CHURCH (corner of Weller Avenue and Wiley Street), on Tuesday, October 16 at 11:00 am.  Rite of Committal with Prayers at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.  As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation in Mrs. Geldart's memory.
