Muriel provided love that was never in doubt to Gerry, her husband of 68 years, son Steven, daughter Janice and grandson Matthew Waitson. Also close to her heart were daughter in law Gillian and son Ben, Stephen and Rebecca Waitson and the entire Waitson clan – Kerry, Stephanie, Kate, Sarah, Stephanie and Matt's partner Sarah as well as the many Gilroys in Kingston and Smith's Falls. Muriel was a feisty spirit in a small package with a love for life. An avid curler, golfer and bridge player who enjoyed the many friends made in those pursuits she also gave back through many years of volunteering for a variety of good causes. The loss of daughter Janice 15 years ago left a hole that could never be filled yet she summoned the courage to soldier on. Gone but never forgotten. Donations in lieu of flowers to the UHKF (Kingston General Hosptial).
