Unexpectedly at the Kingston General Hospital surrounded by the loving embrace of her family, on Thursday, September 27, 2018.  Genevieve (nee Pynn), in her 86th year, beloved wife of the late Kenneth Dawe.  Loving mother of Lewis (Jeanine) of Kingston, Gary of Calgary, Rhonda (David) of Kingston, and the late Kenneth, in infancy.  Affectionately known as "Nan" to her granddaughter Breanna. Survived by brother Lewis (Frances) and predeceased by brother Scott (late Ermie).  Beloved by many nieces and nephews across Canada.  She will be sadly missed by numerous friends, especially Cynthia Cook-Brown, Trevor Burgess and family, who have long been treasured friends.  Cremation in the care of James Reid Crematorium.  In keeping with Genevieve's wishes, there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Boulevard on Sunday, September 30 at 2:00 pm.  A reception will follow in the James Reid Reid Reception Centre.  The family will gather privately at Cataraqui Cemetery for the interment.  As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or charity of choice, in Mrs. Dawe's memory.
