Passed away at home on Sunday, September 23, 2018 with his family by his side after a courageous battle with cancer. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Louise (nee White); his daughters Sherri Grifferty (John), Holly; his grandchildren Kaileigh, Justin, Jodi and Patrick. Predeceased by his parents Norman and Elma and brothers Richard and Carl. He will be sadly missed by his several nieces and nephews as well as his closest friends and customers. Gord was a devoted plumber for 52 years and worked until he could work no more. The family will receive friends at James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd. on Friday 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. also Saturday, September 29 in Sacred Heart Church, Wolfe Island  from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m., Funeral Mass will follow at 11:30 a.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations in care of the Wolfe Island Fire Department would be appreciated by the family.
