October 25, 1959 – September 9, 2018

Long-time employee of the LCBO

Peacefully passed away after a lengthy illness at home in Kingston at the age of 58.  Garth, beloved son of Doreen and the late Lyle Elliott.  Predeceased by his grandparents George and Cassie Elliott and Albert and Dorothy Sexton.  Garth will be sadly missed by his Aunt Winnifred Switzer, numerous cousin including Ken Imrie, and good friends Jim Mattice, Billy Blondin, and Rita.  Garth was a lover of all animals as can be seen by the love of his dog Harley, and his cats Booboo and Kathmandu and to honour his memory donations may be made to the Humane Society or to the charity of your choice.  A service celebrating Garth’s life will be held in the Chapel of the James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd., on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 2:00 pm, followed by the interment at Christ Church Cemetery.  Friends will be received on Thursday from 12:30 – 1:50 pm prior to the service.
