Obituary of George William Francis Pearce

PEARCE, George William Francis (Bill)-
Born in St. John's, Newfoundland on December 27, 1942, Bill died peacefully in his home in the  caring embrace of his family on Friday, August 31, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Lorna Pearce (nee Campbell). Devoted Father of Campbell (and his wife Susan) of Kingston. Loving Grandfather of Isla and Lachlan. Bill is predeceased by his sister Gail Remedios (Danny). Survived by sisters Bonnie Bruce (Gerry) and Janice Pearce and by his brothers David, Keith (Sandy), Bruce (Mary) and Roger (Kathleen). Uncle and Great Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Boulevard, Kingston, on Friday, September 7 between the hours of 7 pm and 9 pm, and on Saturday, September 8 from 1 pm to 1:50 pm. Funeral service to follow in the Chapel at 2 pm with Rev. Curtis Wilson officiating.  As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to U.H.K.F. (Palliative Care at KGH) in Bill's memory.
