Brian Peters

Obituary of Brian William Peters

PETERS, Brian William-
Age 61, passed away on Thursday, August 16, 2018 with his favourite song playing, and his family by his side. The Ice Man will forever be remembered driving Zamboni at Market Square, wearing head-to-toe camo outfits, being an avid outdoorsman and having the best laugh around. His sense of humour and enthusiasm for life will live on through the endless stories we all have to share. Brian loved nothing more than his family; not even 14 point bucks, big bass or the Boston Bruins could compete. He leaves behind his wife of 31 years Helen (nee Burns) daughter Alicia, son-in-law Pete and grandson Drake Sergeant. Special uncle to Scott, Shannon, Kayla and Logan Millikin. Predeceased by his father Bert Peters, father in-law Robert Burns, uncle Roy Cox and grandmother Mayme Cox. Thank you to all of our family and friends that supported us on this journey, the love and support has been overwhelming. Special thanks to David and Shirley Millikin, Bobby Burns, Dr. Kennedy, Dr. Houssain and the many amazing nurses at Providence Care Hospital for taking care of the Bri Guy, and making the most difficult time a little easier. A celebration of Brian`s life will be held at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, RECEPTION AND CELEBRATION CENTRE, 1900 John Counter Boulevard, (Please enter the Reception Centre from the rear parking lot), on Sunday, August 26 between the hours of 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm, with words of remembrance commencing at 3:00 pm.  As an expression of sympathy, donations to Wildlife Conservation Society Canada may be made at the funeral home or online at www.wcscanada.org.
