Obituary of Mary "Ann" Burrell

BURRELL, Mary "Ann"
At the Kingston General Hospital following a brief illness, on Monday, August 6, 2018.  Ann (nee Plumer), beloved wife of 36 years to Doug Burrell, of Kingston, ON.  Loving mother of Kim Burrell, of Brooks, AB.  Dear daughter of Mary Plumer (nee Smith) and the late William Plumer, of Brooks, AB.  Survived by her siblings, Bill Plumer (Charlotte), Alison Saarenpaa (Jaakko), Glen Plumer (Danette), all of Brooks, AB and Linda Plumer, of Okotoks, AB.  Also remembered by nieces and nephews, as well as her close friend Virginia Bregg, of Richmond Hill, ON.  In accordance with Ann's wishes, cremation has taken place under the direction of James Reid Crematorium.  A memorial service will be held at KINGSTON WEST FREE METHODIST CHURCH, 1575 Woodbine Road (west of Collins Bay Road), on Monday, August 13 at 2:00 pm.  Ann's family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 1:00 pm until 1:50 pm, and during a reception in the church hall following the service.  As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to U.H.K.F. (Palliative Care at KHSC or Cancer Centre of Southeastern Ontario), in memory of Ann.
