Obituary of Caroline Lesley Falkner

FALKNER, Caroline Lesley - It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing after a brief illness of a much loved wife, mother, and grandmother: Caroline Lesley Falkner.
Caroline passed away peacefully at Kingston General Hospital on Monday, July 16, 2018 at the age of 74 with her family at her bedside.
Caroline leaves her husband, Derek, and four children to mourn her: Clare, David, Jennifer, and Philip. She also leaves four grandchildren: Emily, Sarah, Anna, and Rebecca. She is survived by her brother, John.
Caroline was an Associate Professor and former Head of the Queen's University Classics Department and an active member of the St. George's Cathedral community.
At Caroline's request cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at St. George's Cathedral, Kingston, on Tuesday, July 24th from 1:30 p.m., followed by a Service in the Cathedral celebrating Caroline's life at 2:30 p.m.
Memorial donations made to the Cathedral Heritage Preservation Trust or to the University Hospital Kingston Foundation would be appreciated by the family in lieu of flowers.
