Peacefully at Trillium Community Care on Monday, May 28, in her 86th year. Loving wife of George Brooks who predeceased her in 2008.  Connie is survived by her daughters Susan Brooks and Barbara Torres (Joe), grandchildren Ryan Torres and Leah O'Leary (William) and great-granddaughter Nora.  Connie was the daughter of the late Charles Edward and Clara (Lees) Miller.  She was the last of her generation as she was predeceased by her siblings Jean, Emerson, Charles Elgin (Bud), Pearl, Edna and Ellen.  Thanks to the staff of Trillium Community Care for the wonderful care and compassion shown to Connie over her five years as a resident.  Family and friends will be received at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Boulevard, on Saturday, June 2 from 11:00 am until 12:50 pm.  The funeral service will follow in the Chapel at 1:00 pm, with Reverend Nancy Clarke officiating.  A reception will follow in the Reception Centre.  Cremation at James Reid Crematorium will be followed by the Committal service at Cataraqui Cemetery on Monday, June 4 at 2:00 pm.  As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
