Kearney, Geraldine Shirley (nee Franklin)
Entered into rest peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital with her family by her side on Tuesday, May 8th, 2018 in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Gerald Kearney. Much loved mother of John Kearney (Dianne), Paul Kearney (Sharon) and Rick Garrett (Cathy). Cherished grandmother to Josh, Ashley, Katie, Peri, Finn, Jessica and Chris. (and Max the family pet). She will be remembered by brother Bill, sisters Arlene, Ethel and Lillian and many nieces and nephews, family, friends, neighbours and a special place in her heart for Jodie, Jessie and family. Predeceased by brothers Admiral, Russel, John, sisters Bernice, Mary Jane and Thora. A special thanks to the staff at KGH emergency department for their compassion and care over the last week and staff at Fairfield Manor East whom Mom loved deeply for all the love and support they have provided to her over the last 4 years.
Friends will be received on Friday, May 11, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Blvd. Liturgy of the Word will be held in the chapel on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 11 a.m. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery
