It is with a profound sense of loss we announce that Joan Elizabeth Adamson, passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2018 in her 80th year, after a valiant struggle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. Loving wife of over 62 years to Howard S. Adamson. Devoted mother to daughters Linda Kelloway and husband Michael Kelloway, Karen Mallette and husband Randy Mallette, Sandra Carson and husband Bill Carson. Devoted grandmother to grandchildren, Tyler Kelloway (Stacey), Ryan Mallette, Amy Kelloway (Brent), Carmin Mallette, Jilian Cowan (Josh) and Emilee Carson (Mitch) and great -grandchild Grace Kelloway, and future great-grandchild "Baby Willy" Cowan. Dear sister of Gerald Bull and his wife Sharon, and aunt of Stephen Bull and his wife Belinda and Kim Jennings and her husband Don. She was a devoted and faithful member of Christ Church Parish Centre, Lay Reader, President of the Church Altar Guild. She was a member of Kingston General Hospital Auxiliary for many years. She was Past-President of the Senior NCO'S Ladies Dart League, Belleville, for many years. The family wish to thank Dr. M. S. Maksymec, Dr. I. A. Harle, Dr. O. Moran-Mendoza and all the staff and workers of Home & Community Care for their outstanding support through this difficult time. A Celebration of Life will take place at CHRIST CHURCH PARISH CENTRE, 990 Sydenham Rd., Kingston, on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 with visitation at the church at 10:00 am followed by the Celebration of Life service at 11:00 am. Inurnment in Christ Church Cemetery immediately following the service.  A reception will be held in the Parish Centre Hall following the inurnment. Donations to Christ Church Parish Centre or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
