1928-2018
Died suddenly on January 3rd, 2018 at his home with his wife by his side. He is survived by his beloved wife Jessie Hall (nee Kerfoot). Loving father of his only child, daughter Jane Murray Hall (predeceased).
Murray was born and raised in Toronto. He was the youngest son to William C. and Marion Frances Hall. He was predeceased by his mother, father and brother William Russell Hall. Murray will be sadly missed by his relatives and friends. He was a Certified Engineering Technician and retired member of O.A.C.E.T.T. Murray was a lifetime member of Zealand Wilson Masonic Lodge A.F and A.M NO 86, of Don Valley. Murray was also a member of the Ancient St. John’s Lodge, NO 3. G.R.E, A.F, and A.M. In 1949 Murray joined the Toronto Police Department and served for over 7 years until 1956 when he entered the Fluid Power Industry where he remained until he retired in 1984.
Murray and his wife Jess moved to Kingston, Ontario in 1989, 5 years after his retirement.
In keeping with Murray’s wishes the interment will be held privately at Cataraqui Cemetery where he will be buried beside his beloved daughter Jane. There will be no other services held.
