Obituary of Wesley C. McMachen

McMachen, Wesley C.
August 17, 1933 – October 7, 2017
Wesley passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family at the Kingston General Hospital in his 85th year.  Beloved husband of 63 years to Thelma McMachen.  Cherished Dad of Paul, Faye Nourry (Lee), Wayde, Trina Smith (Jeff) and Amy Cavanagh (Shawn).  Wesley was predeceased by his great granddaughter Trinity and will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Jaymi, Bryan (Jen), Shannon (Cory), Amanda (Bryan), William (Ashley), Sara, Gage and Seth as well as his nine great-grandchildren.  Wesley was also predeceased by his parents Walter and Jessie McMachen as well as his four sisters and five brothers.  He will be sadly missed by his brother Wayne (Jessica), his in-laws, his numerous nieces, nephews and their families as well as many friends.  In keeping with Wesley’s wishes cremation has taken place at the James Reid Funeral Home Crematorium.  A Celebration to honour a life well lived will be held at the Storrington Lions Club, 2992 Princess Road, Inverary on Saturday, November 4,  2017 from 1-6 pm.  For those who wish donation’s in Wesley’s memory can be made to the Canadian Mesothelioma Foundation.
