We met Bert and Karen in Progreso, Yucatan in October 2007. They were a huge help to us as new expats in the community and we hit it off immediately, enjoying each other's company. Although we lost touch when you moved to Florida, you were often in our thoughts. I discovered Bert's obit today, doing a Google search for the two of you. So sad to hear of his passing 7 years ago. I hope you are well Karen, and have not been harmed with Hurricane Milton passing through Florida over the past day. We'd love to hear from you.
