Obituary of Alida Cornelia Vanderputten

VANDERPUTTEN, Alida “Alice” (nee Honcoop)
1931-2017
Alice received her angel wings on Tuesday, June 13, 2017, in her 87th year.  Predeceased by her daughter Sandy and husband John, Alice will be sadly missed by her children Yvonne (Jim), John (Tammy) and Rick.  Oma will be fondly remembered by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Alice was an active member in the crafting community and will be missed by all those whose lives she touched.  The family will receive friends at the James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd., on Monday, June 19th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.  Funeral service will be held in the Chapel of the funeral home on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 11:00am, followed by a reception in the James Reid Reception Centre.  As expressions of sympathy, donations in Alice’s memory may be made to the U.H.K.F. (Cancer Centre of SE ON at KGH) or to the charity of your choice.
