Obituary of Stephen Richard Dailey

DAILEY, Stephen Richard
September 18, 1959 - June 11, 2017
With peace and with dignity, Stephen died surrounded by the everlasting love of his family. He was the beloved husband and best friend of Kim (nee Joyce) for 35 years and a loving father to daughter, Stef (Matt).  Dear son of John and June Dailey and loved brother of Karen Klymciw (Bob), Michael (Karen), Tim (Liz), Joanne Pereira (Peter) and Leslie Carter (Greg).  Son-in-law of the late Lorne and Shirley Joyce.  Dear brother-in-law of Brian (Joyce), Kerry (Kelly) and Blair (Lola).  Fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews.  His feline companions and couch mates Cleo, Morrie and Bear will miss him too.  Stephen was known for his wit, humour and fun-loving demeanor, yet enjoyed his quiet time and solitude, especially while doing what he loved most...fishing.  Cremation in the care of James Reid Crematorium.  The family will receive friends at JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Boulevard, on Friday, June 16 between the hours of 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 7:00 - 9:00 pm.  In accordance with Stephen`s wishes there will be no funeral ceremony, however the family will gather privately at a later date.  As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Kingston Humane Society in Stephen`s memory.
