Obituary of Vera Batchelor (Froats)

BATCHELOR (formerly FROATS), Vera Margaret (nee Lovelace)
1926 – 2017
Peacefully passed away at Trillium Centre, Court Building, on Wednesday, May 31, 2017, in her 91st year.  Vera was predeceased by her beloved first husband Lyal Froats (1989) and second husband Robert Batchelor (2013).  She will be sadly missed by her children and family members Linda Thomas (Brian), Terry Froats, Victoria Froats and cherished granddaughters Stephanie Froats and Clair Batchelor.  Dear sister of Dalton Lovelace (Sharyl) and their son Eric.  Vera will also be missed by her dear friends and extended family members.  A special thank you is extended to the staff of Heritage House at Trillium Court for the wonderful care that Vera received.   Resting at the James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd., Kingston on Sunday, June 4, 2017 from  2-4 pm.  Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Monday, June 5, 2017 at 11:00 am followed by the interment at Cataraqui Cemetery.  For those who wish, donations in Vera’s memory may be made to Strathcona Park Presbyterian Church.
