Obituary of Edward Frederick Elsliger
Peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital after a long battle with Alzheimer's/Dementia, Edward Frederick Elsliger passed on Wednesday, April 19th, 2017 at the age 88. Edward (Ed) beloved husband of Ann (nee Boris) for 65 years. Loving father of Debbie Bradley of Brampton, Susan Maidment of Kingston, Cathy Milne (Chris) of Vancouver. Dear Grandfather of Colin Bradley, Krista Bradley (Jamie), Jason Bradley, Trevor Maidment (Julie), Kevin Maidment, Brooke Milne. Great Grandfather of Elliot Bradley.
In accordance with Ed's wishes cremation took place at James Reid Crematorium. A celebration of Ed’s life will be held in Kingston at a later date.
Ed will be sadly missed by all of those who were fortunate enough to have known him. His extended family, his brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews. His fellow members of his strong Catholic Faith, fellow co-workers at UTDC and Orenda. Friends from his many hobbies, Kingston Flying Club, The Lockmasters in the Rideau Canal, friends at Belle Park, friends at Loretto and the Georgetown area. The many strangers he always had a kind word for.
Many thanks to the numerous hospital and nursing home staff that cared for Ed during his fight with Alzheimer's/Dementia.
