Obituary of Hendrika Gerda Kidman

KIDMAN, Hendrika Gerda (Rie) nee Mullié November 21, 1926 – April 21, 2017 Rie passed away peacefully at Fairmount Home on Friday, April 21, 2017. Dearly loved wife of the late Leonard Rising (Ri), 2008. Much loved mother of Bob and his wife Kathy McDougall. Loving grandmother of Shawn and Ryan. Rie was a long-time volunteer at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and at the Kingston General Hospital. Her family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dona and Gerry for their friendship, help and support over the years and also to the staff at Fairmount for their compassionate care. A private family service will be held at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Boulevard. Inurnment to follow at Cataraqui Cemetery, where she will be re-united with her beloved, Ri. Any expressions of sympathy may be made to UHKF (Kingston General Hospital) or the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada, in Rie’s memory.
