Obituary of Eric Allen Stone

STONE, Eric Peacefully passed away at the Kingston General Hospital on Saturday, April 8, 2017, in his 78th year. Eric, beloved husband of Barbara of Kingston. Loving Dad of Jeffrey (Laurel) of Sudbury, Lisa Dow (Brad) of Belleville and Teresa Supple. Adoring Poppa of Kurtis, Taylor, Georgia, Scoley, Jackson, Nathan and Trevor. Eric was predeceased by his parents Sydney and Dorothy Stone and by his sisters Judy Wuorinen and Linda Quenville. Eric was the Eastern Area Manager of Construction at Union Gas (Retired) and was also a member of the Masons and the Kingston District Shrine Club. A heartfelt thank you is extended to the staff and volunteers at KGH for the wonderful care that Eric and the family received during his illness. In keeping with Eric wishes cremation has taken place at the James Reid Crematorium. A service celebrating his life will be held at the James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd., Kingston, on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 1:00 pm. Friends will be received on Wednesday before the service from 11:00 am until 12:45 pm and also at a reception following the service. In lieu of flowers donations in Eric’s memory may be made to the Kingston Shrine Club and would be greatly appreciated by the family.
