Obituary of Emerald Floyd Murphy

MURPHY, Emerald Floyd - Formerly of Odessa, Ontario Long-time Alcan employee Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Moira Place, Tweed on Saturday, March 11, 2017 in his 90th year. Predeceased by his loving wife, Helen. Dear father of Donna Bedard (Joe), Brian (Glenda) and Don (Wendy). Cherished grandfather of Lori (Adam), Darryl, Kristin (Scot), Kimmi (Blake) and great-grandpa of Ella, Oliver, Porter and Bryan. He will be missed by his nieces, nephews and extended family members. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held at JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Boulevard on Wednesday, March 15 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, March 16 at 10:00am. Interment at Harrowsmith Cemetery. Reception to follow in the James Reid Reception Centre. As expressions of sympathy, memorial contributions in Emerald's memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
