Obituary of Edward Arnold Campbell

CAMPBELL, Edward Arnold (Arnie) 1926-2017 Peacefully passed away at Providence Manor on Thursday, March 9, 2017, in his 91st year. Arnie, beloved husband of the late Dorothy (nee Strong). Loving father of Richard (Janice) of Napanee, Debbie Huffman (David) of Harrowsmith, Elaine Dunlop (Roy) of Kingston, Virginia McQueen of Kingston and Tracy Kidd (Dan) of Cobourg. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Wendy Millard (Dave), Krista Page (Jamie), Sean Dunlop, Shelley Ogilvie (Mike), Amanda Craig (Jamie), Marc Dunlop, Zac McQueen (Lin-Sei), Madison Kidd, Mallory McQueen and Mitch Kidd and 7 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Ina McLean (the late Wilbert), Roy (Joan), Gordon (Louise) and the late Howard and Donald Campbell and Nadine Kingsbury. Arnie will be sadly missed by his numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Arnie was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br 631, Collins Bay and was the Past President of Br 496, Sydenham as well as the Ontario Zone Commander. Friends will be received at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Boulevard, on Monday, March 13 from 11:30 am until 12:30 pm. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial to follow at OUR LADY OF LOURDES CATHOLIC CHURCH, 490 Days Road, at 1:30 pm. Rite of Committal with Prayers at Sydenham Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to UHKF (Providence Manor) in Mr. Campbell's memory. Members of the Royal Canadian Legion are respectfully invited to attend a service of remembrance at the funeral home, Monday at 12:30 pm.
