August 25, 1940 to February 20, 2017
Peacefully entering into God’s green pasture, Glenn passed away at St. Mary’s of the Lake Hospital in his 77th year. His beloved wife Nancy (nee Babcock) of almost 55 years was by his side. Pre-deceased by his parents Herbert and Jean Tolls. Dear father and best friend to Brian and a loving father-in-law to Brian’s wife Kimberley. Extremely proud and supportive Grandpa to Raymond (Jennifer), Victoria, and Colin (girlfriend Brianna). Brother-in-law to Terry Babcock (Liz) and the late Stephen Babcock (Wanda). Special nephew of, Isabelle Morey and Gwen Cordukes. Glenn also leaves a large extended family and will be missed dearly by members of his church and community. A life long resident of Elginburg and a founding figure of Glenndale Farms; he spent his life tending to livestock and crops. Glenn had a passion for making maple syrup, a tradition that he has passed down to his family. The entire Tolls family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Glenn’s palliative health and cancer care teams. Everyone’s care, help and ingenuity helped make Glenn’s final months comfortable. As per Glenn’s request, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Boulevard on Friday, February 24th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm with the funeral service to be held in the chapel on Saturday, February 25th at 11am. Interment to follow at Cataraqui Cemetery . In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Trinity United Church, Elginburg or U.H.K.F. (Cancer Center of SE Ontario)
