Obituary of Thomas Douglas Burke

Burke, Thomas Douglas (Royal Canadian Navy) (Corrections Canada) (Royal Canadian Legion - Past President Br 631) Peacefully at Kingston General Hospital on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at age of 83. Predeceased by his wife Shirley Marie (Pitt), parents Thomas and Marjorie Burke. Father of Robin (Sudbury, ON) and Brian and his wife France (Kelowna, B.C.). Grandfather of Thomas, Nathan, Kristopher, Colin and Paige. Survived by his sister Beverly Partridge, brothers Robert his wife Patricia, Christopher and his wife Brenda, sisters-in-law Louise Kouri, Sussanne Brownlee. Many thanks and gratitude to Kingston General Hospital ICU, Kidd 6 and Dr. Elaine Fung for their kindness and support. Resting at James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd. Friends will be received Thursday, February 23, 2017 from 11:45 a.m. - 12 45 p.m., a Legion service will be held at 12:45 p.m. and a funeral service to follow at 1p.m. Interment will be held at Cataraqui Cemetery.
