Obituary of Olive Hartley

HARTLEY, Olive Olive passed away peacefully at home with her beloved husband Robert by her side, on Thursday, February 9, 2017, just shy of her 90th birthday. Olive, much loved wife of Robert Hartley. Cherished mum of Dianne Hartley (John Guiniven) of Virginia, and Belinda Whitehead (Keith) of New Jersey. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandson Lindsay Allison (Frances) and their daughter Megan of Toronto and by her granddaughter Meredith Allison (John Price) and their children Henry and Amelia of North Carolina. A funeral service celebrating Olive’s life will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 2:30 pm in the chapel of the James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd., Kingston. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 1:00 pm until 2:30 pm prior to the service. Interment Cataraqui Cemetery. For those who wish, donations in Olive’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or to the charity of your choice.
