Obituary of Catherine Gunn Marshall Leggett

LEGGETT, Catherine Gunn Marshall (nee Duncan)- Entered into rest at Helen Henderson Care Centre on Saturday, February 4, 2017 in her 79th year. Beloved wife of the late William Leggett, daughter of the late Andrew and Catherine Duncan (nee Marshall). Dear "Mum" of Linda (Libby) Running (Gary) of Yarker; Michael (Cheryl) of Naperville, Illinois and Donna Sills (Peter) of Odessa. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, April (James), Joel (Claire), and Nathaniel Running, Lindsay (Kyle), Alex (Caitlyn), and Spencer Leggett, Logan (Nate), Taylor (Nate), and Cooper Sills (Steph). Former long-time member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Kingston and volunteer at Hotel Dieu Hospital Women's Auxiliary. Family and friends will be received at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Boulevard, on Monday, February 20, between the hours of 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at ST. PAUL THE APOSTLE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1111 Taylor-Kidd Boulevard on Tuesday, February 21 at 11:00 am., with Father Leo Byrne celebrating. Inurnment at Sydenham Cemetery will be followed by a reception in the James Reid Reception Centre. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Society of Kingston or UHKF (Mental Health Fund) would be appreciated by the family.
