Obituary of Susan Margaret LaMorre

LAMORRE, Susan Margaret Her family sadly reports Susan's passing on Sunday, January 29, 2017. A native Nova Scotian, Susan met her husband, Joel, while they were students at St. Francis Xavier University and married at the start of their senior year, 53 plus years ago. Susan was predeceased by her parents, C.W. (Mac) and Marian MacGillivray, and a daughter, Melanie. She is survived by her husband, Joel, eight children: Dan (Coleen), Lisa (Wayne), Shannan (Greg), Greg (Amanda), Matthew, Jude (Shelley), Bethany and Lindsay (Sean); twelve grandchildren: Eric, Luke, Geoff, Ian, Kaia, Abigail, Matthew, Jessica, Xavier, Quinn, Aislinn, and Juniper. She worked for medical specialists most of her career, retiring three years ago. She enjoyed reading, quilting, bridge, sketching, the Blue Jays, and music (spoiled many times by the Concert Three). Her quick wit and ready smile will be missed. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be held at ST. JOSEPH'S ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 392 Palace Road, on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. in Kingston. The family will be available for visitation in the church following the Mass.
