Obituary of Floretta Verna Poole

POOLE, Floretta "Florrie" (nee Lloyd) April 1, 1917 - January 29, 2017 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of "Mom" in her 100th year, surrounded by family at Great War Memorial Hospital in Perth. Beloved wife of the late Monty Poole (August 1990) and by previous marriage to the late James Jarvis. Cherished mother of Terry (Verla) of Kingston, Rick (Marian) of Kingston, Jamie-Lynn (the late Ned Closs) of Lanark and Kendall (Eve) of Kingston. Lovingly remembered by her 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Sadly missed by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by 6 sisters and 3 brothers, (all late of Napanee). Funeral service in the Chapel of the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Boulevard, on Thursday, February 2 at 1:00 pm, with Reverend Elizabeth Foster officiating. The family will receive friends in the Chapel prior to the service from 12 noon until 12:50 pm, and in the Reception Centre following the service. Interment at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Princess Street United Church, or the charity of your choice, in Mrs. Poole's memory.
