Obituary of Dr. Thomas William Challis

CHALLIS, Thomas William M.D. Retired Radiologist, KGH Professor Emeritus, Queen’s University Peacefully at St. Mary’s of the Lake Hospital on Monday, January 9, 2017 in his 91st year. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Carole (2006). Loving father of Judith Challis and Diane Challis. Devoted grandfather to Matthew Grekul. Predeceased by his brothers, Walter and Leslie and his sister, Joyce. Visitation will be held at JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Boulevard on Friday, January 13, 2017 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. Funeral Service will be held in the James Reid Chapel on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 1:00pm. Reception to follow. Cremation followed by inurnment at Cataraqui Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions in memory of Dr. Challis can be made to UHKF (KGH – Diagnostic Imaging).
