Obituary of William Kent Winterstein

WINTERSTEIN, William Kent Doctor of Chiropractic 40 year member of the Masonic Lodge, President -Kingston District Shrine Club, member of Rameses Shriners; Worshipful Master- Royal Edward of Cataraqui No. 92 A.F. & A.M.; member of Thousand Islands Shrine Club - Ambassador to Tunis; member of Kiwanis Club of Kingston Unexpectedly in Kingston, on Tuesday, January 3, 2017, in his 68th year. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Debbie Young. Loving father of Pauline of Alberta and Adam (Sarah) of Vancouver. Adoring grandfather of Carl and Christopher. Predeceased by parents Bruce and Ruth. Dear brother of Jean (Laurie), Delight (Paul) and Clara (Bill). Fondly remembered by nieces and nephews, as well as Debbie's family. Friends will be received at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Boulevard, on Tuesday, January 10 between the hours of 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Funeral service at the KINGSTON ALLIANCE CHURCH (corner of Bath & Palace Roads), on Wednesday, January 11 at 11:00 am, with Pastor Paul Silcock officiating. Interment to follow at Cataraqui Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, or the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, in Dr. Winterstein's memory. Members of the Shriners and Masonic Lodge are invited to gather at the funeral home for a service of remembrance, Tuesday evening at 6:30 pm.
