Obituary of Dorothy Elaine O'Connor

O’CONNOR, Dorothy (nee: Garner)
Peacefully passed away at the Kingston General Hospital on Friday, December 30, 2016 at the age of 92. Dorothy, beloved wife of the late John Francis (2007). Loving mother of John James of Yellowknife, NT. Dear sister of Gordon Garner and his wife Joyce, Helen Garner and the late Donald Garner. She will be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews. In keeping with Dorothy's wishes, cremation has taken place.  A graveside service celebrating Dorothy’s life will be held at the Cataraqui Cemetery on Monday, May 29, 2017 at 1:00 pm.  For those attending, please gather at the James Reid Funeral Home (1900 John Counter Blvd., Kingston) at 12:45pm, to travel in procession to the cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Dorothy’s memory may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion, Poppy Fund.
