Obituary of Timo Johannes Hytonen

HYTONEN, Timo Johannes December 25, 1952 – December 21, 2016 Passed away after a brief but hard fought battle with cancer at Kingston General Hospital, with his family by his side. Timo is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Sue, his loving children Erik and Leslie and by his grandchildren Finley and Tommi. He will be sadly missed by his sister Raija Orava. Timo was passionate about volunteering, dedicating himself to many projects throughout his lifetime. He held leadership roles in Downtown Kingston, Imagine Kingston, was on the Board of Directors at KGH for several years and was an Honourary Colonel of the 426th Squadron in Trenton with the Royal Canadian Armed Forces. A Celebration of Life will be held at Marriott Kingston Water's Edge on January 4th 2017, at 1:00pm. For those who wish, donations in Timo’s memory may be made to Pathways to Education or to U.H.K.F.
